We are delighted to welcome you to the XR Lab at Rhodes House for a special screening of I, Philip. This innovative science fiction film invites us to explore the intersection of identity, technology, and humanity through the lens of a deeply personal narrative. Following the story of roboticist David Hanson and his creation of the first android human, Philip, this film interprets Phil’s life through the memories of the android and the author.

This screening is particularly meaningful to the history of our Forum, as David Hanson and his remarkable creation, Sophia the Robot, were speakers at the 2023 edition! Join us for this unique experience that not only entertains but also sparks profound reflections on the future of human-technology interaction.
